16 Days of Activism
Every year, the 16 Days of Activism creates an important space for communities to come together and speak out against gender-based violence and harmful practices affecting women and girls. The activities continue to strengthen awareness, encourage dialogue, and promote shared responsibility in protecting the dignity, safety, and rights of all community members.
Across different areas, community members engage in discussions, awareness forums, outreach activities, and advocacy sessions focused on child protection, women’s rights, education, healthy relationships, and community accountability. Women, youth, elders, and local leaders continue to play an active role in encouraging positive change and supporting safer environments for women and girls.
The continued participation and commitment shown during the 16 Days of Activism reflect growing community awareness and collective action. These moments continue to inspire stronger leadership, open conversations, and lasting efforts toward building communities free from violence, discrimination, and fear.
